During Christmastime, I had the privilege of visiting a very poor family in our neighborhood who are struggling to make ends meet because the husband recently suffered a stroke and struggles with basic functioning. With six children under the age of 13, it is a challenge at times for them to even provide food. Yet, I couldn’t help but notice that what they lacked in material goods, they more than made up for in warmth and hospitality.
