On Thursday, April 13, 2017, the President signed into law: H.J.Res. 43, which nullifies the Department of Health and Human Services rule prohibiting recipients of Title X grants for the provision of family planning services from excluding a subgrantee from participating for reasons other than its ability to provide Title X services.  If this White House press release confuses you, let us clear things up: This legislation rolls back an Obama-era rule protecting certain federal funds for Planned Parenthood and other organizations that provide legal abortions.  The repeal of this rule allows states to effectively block Planned Parenthood and other abortion providers from funds associated with the Title X Family Planning program.

On Monday, April 10, 2017, Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch was sworn in. 

"This is great news for Life," said Right to Life League executive director Anne Hennessy. Appointed to the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals in Denver by President George W. Bush, Gorsuch has a record of faithfully applying the law and defending the Constitution--including two cases where he ruled in favor of Hobby Lobby and the Little Sisters of the Poor.
