Skyline Wesleyan Church is challenging California's law mandating that churches pay for elective abortions in their health insurance plans. Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) is legally representing the church in the case and is holding a press conference at the courthouse after a hearing. Let's show our support!
ADF attorneys will speak at the press conference. Churches shouldn't have to pay for abortions!
Churches should be free to operate according to their faith. Churches answer to God, not to Planned Parenthood—which was highly involved in passing the law we’re challenging. We won't be speaking to media at the event, we'll just hold signs in support of Skyline Wesleyan Church's cahllenge of the law.
The hearing will run until around 11, so we'll get there at 10:30.
